The GWP100 was estimated by IPCC(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) to 24.5 (1994).
Calculation of characterisation factor
The characterisation factor of CO2 for NEX is 1.26E–14 per kg CO2 . Thus the characterisation factor of NEX is 24.5*(1.26E–14 ) = 3.09E–13 per kg methane.
